Khytul Abyad, Reminiscence
Ink on Paper, 7.5x5 in
From the Artist:
We all grow up listening to stories, some myth, some folklore, and some the lived experiences of our parents, grandparents and ancestors. To me, these stories paired up with the present formed my sense of reality and the normal. In this series, I am trying to reimagine history, and re-tell the stories, in an attempt to establish 'normal' in this geographical context as unsteady and fluctuant.
