Join us for a dialogue with 12G Founder & Executive director Aisha Khan and art critic Aruna D’Souza on what the work of diaspora artists can offer cross-racial efforts to dismantle white supremacy. Through an exploration of select works by Lorraine O’Grady and Baseera Khan, D’Souza and Khan will discuss what, as non-black people of color, we can learn from Black and brown diaspora artists as we persist in confronting and disrupting anti-Blackness in the US. Moreover, D’Souza and Khan will ask: how can their work inspire possibilities for solidarity and visibility across communities of color?
