12G Accessibility Initiative

At Twelve Gates Arts, we showcase contemporary art, emphasizing equity and inclusion. Our dynamic platform empowers artists to explore and celebrate diversity, breaking down societal boundaries. We actively promote fair representation, providing accessible spaces for the transformative power of the arts. Director’s Note

Twelve Gates Arts is honored to announce the official launch of its Accessibility Initiative in collaboration with local organizations, Art-Reach and VisionLink. Art-Reach is a non-profit organization that creates connections between the disability community and the cultural arts through advocacy, trainings, consulting, community partnerships, and programming. VisionLink seeks to inspire all who are living with vision loss to thrive, assisting the community to achieve greater independence by connecting them to cultural and supportive services. Thanks to the support of the William Penn Foundation, 12G began this collaboration with the intent of making its programming accessible to a variety of community members. 12G believes art is a human right and continues to strive to make its space as inclusive and equitable as possible. Starting in 2024, 12G will provide both virtual and sensory tours for each of its exhibitions. We encourage any members of our community interested in a tour to please reach out to us to schedule an appointment.
