From the Artist:

My art is about everything women of Kashmir have to go through in this occupation: torture, violation, brutality and their resistance. I call this painting my stolen, (arrested disappeared) children of Kashmir, but the focus here is on the resistance a woman has to do throughout her existence. Her child is gone, her security and sustenance are gone, she is abused and violated and at the end she is just rubbing her hands and helplessly wanting for something to happen, to do something. And then it is JUST A PICTURE FOR AUDIENCE.
