12G presents this two-person exhibition of pieces by artists Murad Khan Mumtaz and Susana Marin, who both work in the traditional Pahari ('from the mountains') style of miniature painting from north India. The tradition encompassing several sub-schools, began to develop in the 17th century by artists trained in Indo-Persian techniques, and is characterized by comparatively minimalist aesthetics.
